Video Highlights - AIK 1-4 Celtic (agg: 1-6)
Celtic booked their place in the group stage of the Europa League with an assured display in Sweden on Thursday night.

Celtic booked their place in the group stage of the Europa League with an assured display in Sweden on Thursday night.

James Forrest lashed in the opener in the 17th minute to make it 3-0 on aggregate.

A Seb Larsson penalty in the 33rd minute lifted the hosts but Mikey Johnston forced an own goal from AIK goalkeeper Oscar Linner just a minute later.

Christopher Jullien scored the third goal in the 87th minute and Lewis Morgan added a fourth in injury time.

There was to be no repeat of the second-leg collapse that left Celtic's Champions League bid in ruins and Neil Lennon's side will watch on eagerly as their fate is revealed on Friday afternoon.

But the Hoops has been left sweating over the fitness of Odsonne Edouard and Kristoffer Ajer, both of whom limped off injured ahead of Sunday's derby against the Huns.

Lennon passed up the chance to hook his key men with the tie in the bag and it was a decision that came back to haunt the Celtic boss on an otherwise comfortable night for his side.
