The Treatment From Celtic Is Absolutely Disgraceful
Another question has been raised by some though - the absence of Scott Sinclair.

Another question has been raised by some though - the absence of Scott Sinclair.

The winger has not been declared injured but was nowhere to be seen last night at Celtic Park, not named in the starting eleven or on the bench, with the inexperienced Lewis Morgan and Mikey Johnston fancied instead.

Sinclair was a crucial member of Brendan Rodgers' team, scoring 60 goals in three seasons. Even when not playing spectacularly he was often a goal threat.

No-one in the Celtic squad has scored more than him since 2016.

Lennon though simply doesn't seem to fancy him. He got 11 minutes of action against Motherwell on Saturday, was missing from the club's trip to Romania last week and an unused sub against St Johnstone in the league opener.

Surely he's at least worth inclusion on the bench?

There's a reasonable argument to say his best Celtic days have been and gone and should be replaced. But to play clearly inferior players blows that argument out of the water. While he's the best option it's ludicrous that he's not being utitlised.

Sinclair is very well thought of by the players and seen as a senior player. Hes helped the young players like Arzani, Dembele, Oko Flex etc. This is only going to end one way, players always end up winning over the manager.

While he has never hit the heights of his first season is still miles ahead of Morgan and Johnston.

Shocking way to treat a player who has provided us with some important goals and assists over last 3 seasons. Reflects poorly on the club but also if manager had any common sense he would have arguably his best winger in the squad every game.

The treatment of Sinclair has been absolutely disgraceful. How is he not in that team today?
