The Hamstring Injury Trick - To See If A Deal Will Materialise
Greg Taylor pulled out of training yesterday as he waits to see if a deal from Kilmarnock to Celtic will materialise.

Greg Taylor pulled out of training yesterday as he waits to see if a deal from Kilmarnock to Celtic will materialise.

According to the Daily Record, the left-back complained of a hamstring injury as Angelo Alessio's side take on Aberdeen later on this afternoon.

The clubs are yet to agree a fee for Taylor after Killie placed a £3million price tag on their prized asset after Celtic made an initial approach, without an official bid.

Taylor is reportedly keen on a move to the Scottish champions, which the Kilmarnock hierarchy are aware of.

The Hoops are in desperate need of a left sided full-back after the departure of Kieran Tierney and Emilio Izaguirre this summer.

Neil Lennon brought in Boli Bolingoli from Rapid Vienna earlier in the window, but the Northern Irishman is keen to bring in a more defensive-minded player.
