Arsenal are all set to make a take-it-or-leave-it bid for Kieran Tierney as they seek to conclude their summer spending.

The Gunners have splashed the cash on Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba, as well as loaning in Dani Ceballos.

Express Sport understands they want to bring in Celtic left-back Tierney, for whom they have had two offers knocked back.

Their latest proposal will still be around the £25m mark, but with more of the money up front and a small sell-on clause to be included.

Meanwhile, the report claims that contacts have been made for 21-year-old Norwegian defender Kristoffer Ajer from Celtic.

Milan are seemingly insistent on signing young players that can be developed – so at the moment it appears that the leadership have a choice between pursuing Lovren or Ajer.

Lille are preparing a fresh bid for Jozo Simunovic – thanks to their cash bonanza from Arsenal.

The Ligue 1 outfit have banked a massive £72million from Kieran Tierney’s long-time suitors after agreeing a record-breaking deal to sell winger Nicolas Pepe to the London side.

Lille coach Christophe Galtier has already admitted he rates Celtic’s Croatian centre-half and was linked with a £5million move for the defender last month.

Celtic are aiming to sign Linfield sensation Charlie Allen ahead of some of Europe’s elite sides, according to Football Insider.

The youngster made his debut against Coleraine in April and has received attention since. Celtic believe they can tempt Allen to the club by showing a clear pathway from academy to first-team, something that isn’t as obvious at the Premier League sides.

This becomes the second transfer battle between the Champions League finalists and Lennon’s men in this window, with Tobi Oluwayemi came to Parkhead over staying in north London.
