Yannick Bolasie, the former Aston Villa loanee, is wanted by Celtic before the end of the Scottish transfer window, it’s been claimed.

Winger Bolasie spent the first half of last season on loan at Villa before taking the decision to return to parent club Everton in January.With no future at Goodison Park under Marco Silva likely, Bolasie moved to Anderlecht in January and enjoyed himself in the Belgian Pro League.

He netted seven times in 18 appearances during his stay in Belgium, but has returned to Merseyside with his future up in the air.

Bolasie, now 30, is reportedly wanted by Bhoys boss Neil Lennon, who has received something of a boost to his budget after the record sale of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

Turkish side Besiktas and French outfit Rennes also want Bolasie, claims Goal , but he has already knocked back a lucrative offer from CSKA Moscow because he doesn’t wish to make the move to Russia.

It’s believed that Bolasie is on a wage in the region of £80,000 a week, a salary that he’ll likely to have consider reducing if he is to leave Everton.

In all, Bolasie played 21 times for Villa and scored twice, in the win over Rotherham and the draw with Preston - both at Villa Park.

He has recently returned from representing DR Congo at the African Nations Cup.
