The Price Tag On James Forrest
Former Celtic goalkeeper Alan Rough believes Hoops boss Neil Lennon put a £25m price tag on James Forrest based on the fee the club received for the sale of Kieran Tierney, but insists the winger is not leaving Parkhead.

Former Celtic goalkeeper Alan Rough believes Hoops boss Neil Lennon put a £25m price tag on James Forrest based on the fee the club received for the sale of Kieran Tierney, but insists the winger is not leaving Parkhead.

Following the Scottish champions' 2-0 win over St. Mirren in the league on Wednesday, Bhoys manager Lennon put a £25m price tag on Forrest, who scored the side's second on the night just hours after signing a new deal.

Ex-Celtic player Rough feels Lennon's valuation of the 28-year-old Scotsman is based on what the Hoops got for the sale of Tierney to Arsenal in the summer.

The 67-year-old also believes the Hoops boss came to the sum because Forrest is as influential as Tierney was during his time at Celtic Park.

SCOTT SINCLAIR’S Celtic mystery has deepened with his no-show in Neil Lennon’s provisional squad for tonight’s Europa League Group E encounter against Lazio at Parkhead.

The 30-year-old winger’s name was missing from the 20-player pool for the clash against the Italian cracks, according to the Daily Record.

Sinclair, who is out of contract in the summer, was nowhere to be seen, either, for the Premiership match against Ross County at the weekend where Ukrainian Marian Shved was given a late appearance in the 6-0 rout of the Highlanders.

Celtic Aiming To Get Back To Winning Ways
FRASER Forster felt instantly at home as soon as he joined Celtic back in August on a season-long loan from Southampton.

FRASER Forster felt instantly at home as soon as he joined Celtic back in August on a season-long loan from Southampton.

He was working again with goalkeeping coach, Stevie Woods, while there were familiar faces in the dressing-room in the shape of Scott Brown and James Forrest. And, of course, he was reunited with his manager from his previous time with the club, Neil Lennon.

The England internationalist has now made eight appearances this season for the Hoops, with his most recent start against Livingston taking him up to 200 appearances for the club.

And more than looking forward to No.201 when Celtic take on Ross County at home today (Saturday), he and his team-mates are determined to return to winning ways in the Premiership following two disappointing results on the road.
